Acropolis Tour with Anda Hello, we both loved the tour of the acropolis. Anda was not only knowledgeable but also passionate about greek history and culture. She opened up a whole new world for us to explore further. My wife was not feeling her best that morning, so Anda slowed down the pace and made stops along the way. She is not only the best guide we have had in all of our years of traveling throughout Europe, but also a kind and thoughtful person. We were fortunate to have her as our guild.

A sunset delight The drive of the countryside to the site was just beautiful- a whole new view of Athens. Enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and ruins were a perfect end of a great trip. Anthony was a pleasure to ride with and very engaging. Felt like we knew him for years.

Comfortable trip to Cape Sounio to beat the crowds Our driver Harry was prompt, polite and friendly. His car was clean and comfortable and he was keen to accommodate any needs we might have had. We left at 8am and had a smooth journey along the coast with a short stop at Lake Vouliagmeni and arrived just in time to be the first in the gate, having the place to ourselves before the first tour bus arrived. The site was what we expected of an important temple on a commanding headland.

Sunset and Dinner with Ioannis! We are in Greece currently and had the pleasure of exploring Cape Sounion yesterday with Ioannis! Ioannis was so kind and really took care of us. He picked us up promptly, his vehicle was clean, he supplied us with extra waters, and AC. Athens is abnormally warm right now so the AC came in handy. The drive is about 1.5 hours and the road is a winding (just a heads up if you get car sick!). I typically do but with Ioannis driving, I was all right as he was a great driver. Ioannis took us to a wonderful dinner spot on the way to the Temple of Poseidon. The food was excellent, the waiter was lovely, and the view was incredible - right on the sea! It was also a nice break from the road and a place with a bathroom! Once we were done, we continued our journey to the Temple of Poseidon. This is NOT one you want to miss! It is extraordinary and oversees the most beautiful views of the sea. Sunset was stunning and the area closes at sunset (which is around 8pm). We had more than enough time to explore and take in the views. Once the park closed, Ioannis was waiting for us and we headed back to our hotel. Definitely a trip to remember! A few tips for first timers: (1) This is not a tour! Once you arrive at the Temple of Poseidon, you are on your own. (2) There is a bathroom at the Temple of Poseidon. (3) Entry is not included! I did not read the description and carefully and missed that I had to pay for the entry. It is 10 euros / person so make sure to bring some form of payment. (4) Depending on what time of the year it is, the restaurant may vary. Ours was not at the Temple of Poseidon but it was delicious! (5) Bring cash for tips! Greece's minimum wage is extremely low and tips really help. And most importantly, (6) Have fun and take some great photos!

Amazing custom 4-day itinerary Crispy Local created for an unforgettable cultural immersion! Wow what an amazing experience! We went on a private tour with Crispy Local and Antonius was our driver/guide. First the experience was progressively more amazing. Our tour was a custom 4-day version that combined the 3- and 5- day. Acropolis was a sight to behold, and April was the best season to go with less tourists but great warm weather but not too hot. The tour combined seeing the historical landmarks and the museum that housed many of the artifacts. The local guide was incredibly knowledgeable. The second day was Napfolio, Epidaurusanf Mycenae with a local guide who told us a lot of myths and stories from the civilization. Third day in Delphi was quite amazing, first we visited the museum with the impressive artifacts, then we visited the site itself. We learned a lot about Greek culture and the way the Oracle happened. Then we made a stop at Thermopylae to visit the historical site of where the 300 movie happened on our way to Meteora. Meteora was AMAZING. Its landscape was out of this world, it looked like aliens planted the whole thing. Then to add on top you have these monasteries built on top of these dramatic rocks. Antonius drove us around for the most scenic spots, and because of his great organization we didn't have to fight with other tourists for phot spots. Then finally on the fourth day we visited two of the monasteries with a local guide, whether you are a Christian or not, you can appreciate the art and construction of these incredible structures, and understand the hard lives the monks lived. Throughout the trip Antonius filled us with information about pieces of history and he was a great driver and tour organizer as well. He offered us many scenic spots to take photos, and he was very flexible with timing and it really contributed towards our enjoyment of the experience. I really appreciate Crispy Local's willingness to fit our schedule and created this amazing experience for us. Thank You!

Lake Vouliagmeni and Poseidon Tour Spent the day with Harry, wonderful well versed guide. Right on time and he decided to reverse the order of the day to make sure we got the best possible outcome. It was perfect! A nice swim in the morning, then to Poseidon. Found a wonderful place to eat, and the ride home was full of interesting facts, stories and conversation. Great 2 day tour with Crispy Local I was traveling with my son and we did the 2 day private tour to Delphi and Meteora with Anthony. It was fantastic! I highly recommend this tour company. They are friendly, easy to communicate with and prompt with answering questions. The accommodation was amazing in Arachova and our driver was informative, kind and accommodating! Lovely tour to Cape Sounio Harry was punctual when picking us up from our hotel. Car was clean and water was provided. He answered all our questions about greece and was very pleasant. We made a few photo stops along the way for the beautiful views. We were hungry so we stopped for an early dinner at Harry's recommended 4 Brothers restaurant which was very tasty and reasonably priced. We got to the Temple of Poisidon before sunset and enjoyed the beautiful views of Cape Sounio. All in all it was a lovely experience.

Good private tour The tour was a great intro into the area and the guide was awesome. Very clean car. English language was good, and he was easy to understand. The tour itself was easy going not rushed or pushy. Would definitely recommend that you try this private tour was what we selected and we had a great time, good value for money. The guy we went with was a down to earth, positive, accommodating guide. We had lunch at a local restaurant which was also good. We have taken a number of tours in other countries and this by far was one of the best ones. The guide is not a “tour guide” but had good knowledge of the area and great conversationalist .

Great Date Day My husband and I had a wonderful day on this tour! We were picked up in a private car by Loannis who drove us to Lake Vouliagmeni and The Temple of Poseidon. Loannis was great! He was very informative of the history and culture and had great conversation! He took us to this great restaurant right on the water with views of The Temple of Poseidon. The food was so good! This is a great tour for a mostly relaxing day. There is a bit of easy hiking at the temple, but the rest was very chill and enjoyable!

Temple of Poseidon Anthony was a great guide. This was a very relaxing and enjoyable trip. Beautiful ride to the temple. The temple is right on the ocean with incredible views of the surrounding area. We were given plenty of time to walk around on our own and never felt rushed.

Meteora is awesome! I visited Meteora with two friends on our last day in Greece after a 10 day tour and cruise. We were tired during the drive but loved the chance to rest and enjoy the scenery. We were so pleased with how everything went. Our driver Anthony was just what we wanted. He looked after all of our needs, letting us doze, pulling over for photo ops, stopping at rest stops when needed, offering information and answering our questions. We opted to only go into the easiest monastery and it was gorgeous. We never felt rushed. He showed us where to get the best shots of the amazing views and took us to a lovely taverna in Kalambaka afterwards for lunch. Our roundtrip from Athens took about 12 hours. We were so glad we did it. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Great experience We had great communication throughout the experience. The company reached out prior to the trip to send reminders and set expectations. The driver, Anthony, was on time, flexible and gave us some history lessons throughout the trip. The SUV was roomy and we did everything on time as planned. We were taken to each location and give time frames for enjoyment and pick up.

Beautiful evening get away from Athens We loved our trip to Cape Sunio to see the sunset at the temple of Poseidon. Our driver, George, timed our arrival perfectly. The drive from Athens along the coast is beautiful. After the sunset, we enjoyed a nice meal at a local restaurant with fresh seafood and other specialties. The private tour was perfect, and we were able to enjoy the sunset, and enjoyed a comfortable ride without stress.

Sparta and Monemvasia by Crispy Local We had a wonderful trip to Sparta and Monemvasia with Crispy Local. Anthony is an excellent guide, driver and host! It is quite a distance from Athens but it absolutely worth it. The views on the way to Sparta and Monemvasia are most of the time breathtaking (except for the industrial part of Attica). The Olive Museum is worth a visit. Sadly the remains of old Sparta are little, but you must have seen it, especially with the majestic Tayetos mountains at the horizon. Monemvasia is a fortified medieval town with small, labyrinth-like streets and great views over the see.

Wonderful tour of Corinth! We are so thankful for the time spent with George and our tour of ancient Corinth. George was very knowledgeable about all things Greek, and that passion radiates from him. You hang onto every word he says as he guides you through the Canal, Temple of Apollo and Acrocorinth. Great break from the city!! Great day and best guide! We had our 10, 15, 16, 18 year olds with us! The lake is beautiful and while it was a tad cold we still got in. The “fish pedicure” was actually pretty cool! Definitely a cool thing to mix it up and get out of the city to see the coast line. The Temple of Poseidon is like the other temples but so beautiful on the coastline and worth the drive! Alex, our guide, was very personable and so knowledgeable. We had the best lunch near the lake at Koutales- HIGHLY recommend this lunch spot which our guide secured for us! Was a great time and sun day!!

Meteora is a Must My 12 son when I asked what he thought of this trip,” Anthony was the best. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot.” I second that Anthony was great we had a lovely day. It was well planned. Pick up was easy. Anthony was a wealth of knowledge. Meteora was beautiful. Remember to bring a large scarf or wear a skirt. The steps were a workout but worth it for the views. The monasteries were so interesting. Anthony dropped us at a nice place for lunch. And then we made our way back to Athens. At a rest stop my son used his change on a claw machine and won a soccer ball ( signed Real Madrid) so best day ever. Highly recommend Anthony.
